Abstract

We determine the Hausdorff dimension of the intersection of the set W3(λ)\mathcal W_3(λ) of simultaneously λλ-well approximable points with the Veronese curve V3⊂R3\mathcal V_3 \subset \mathbb R^3 for λ≥3/5λ\ge3/5, thus completing the full range of λλ values. Precisely, we show that for λ≥1/3λ\ge 1/3, dim⁡(W3(λ)∩V3)=max⁡{2−2λ1+λ,23(1+λ)}. \dim\bigl(\mathcal W_3(λ)\cap\mathcal V_3\bigr)= \max\left\{\frac{2-2λ}{1+λ}, \frac{2}{3(1+λ)}\right\}. To the best of the authors' knowledge, this makes V3\mathcal V_3 the first nondegenerate, non-planar curve with a completely determined Hausdorff dimension theory.

Not a correctness certificate. A green “no issues found” result may include yellow suspected typos or minor formal issues that do not affect substantive soundness. It means this audit found no unresolved substantive error under the stated criteria; it does not replace expert scrutiny or formal verification.
